INDICATION UNIT

Indication unit is a device designed for use on moving objects of ground machinery. The display unit is intended for receiving and processing information from external systems, reproducing the received information, and displaying the results of information processing by the built-in computer.

IU in continuous mode of operation ensures the following tasks:
– data display;
– automatic control of the functioning of internal nodes, indication of malfunctions;
– communication with external devices via RS-232, RS-422/RS-485, ETHERNET(LAN), USB, CAN interfaces (option);
– work with external video cameras for surveillance in PAL/NTSC format.

The display unit in continuous operation ensures the following tasks:

1. display of navigation data from CH-4215 equipment (location parameters, traffic routes, electronic cartography, etc.);
2. display of data from facility systems in the form of a panel of control devices (power supply, pressure, temperature, condition, etc.);
3. communication with external devices via RS-232, RS-422/RS-485, ETHERNET(LAN), USB, CAN (option);
4. work with external video cameras for surveillance (in PAL/NTSC format);
   automatic control of engine operation, indication of malfunctions.

Specifications:

1. speed of information exchange with external devices:

– from 50 to 115200 bps via RS-232, RS-422/RS-485 interfaces;

– 10 MB via ETHERNET(LAN), USB interfaces.

2. IU readiness time after turning on the power is no more than 2 minutes;
power supply – from the on-board network;

3. DC power supply 24 and 27 V;
4. power consumption (without powering analog video cameras) – no more than 60 W.

External environment parameters:

IU retains its technical characteristics under the influence of:

1. reduced operating temperature -30 °C;

2. elevated operating temperature of +60 °C;

3. sinusoidal vibration:

– in the frequency range from 1 to 500 Hz;

– vibration acceleration amplitude 58.8 m/s² (6 g);

4. increased relative humidity of 98% at a temperature of 25 °C.

IU retains its technical characteristics after exposure:

1. reduced limit temperature of -40 °С;

2. increased limit temperature of +70 °С.

Design parameters:

1. weight – no more than 5 kg;

2. overall dimensions (length × width × height), mm: no more than 280 × 67 × 230.

Built-in control system:

IU provides automatic control of the technical condition of functional nodes with the output of the control results as an indication.

IU performance check is performed in parallel with the solution of other tasks, without disrupting the performance of the main functions of IU.
